You can't stop the beat.

Wilson, you wanted an update. So here it is! Hahah. Must update yours too. Don't always post videos can? Hahah I love to read.

It's raining! I love rain! I like storms. Strong cooling wind, thunder and lightning, dark heavy clouds, and heavy rain. At least TODAY I like rain. I hope it won't rain on Saturday though.

My exams are over last week. It wasn't that bad. At least I was able to answer a majority of the questions.

Yesterday I went ice skating with Dan. Wednesday is "Students' Day" for ice skating like it's "Ladies' Night" for night clubs. So we paid student price for 2 hours, with no overtime charge and free rental of skates. Plus it's a weekday and it's not a school holiday. So IMAGINE how much space of ice we were able to skate around without having to bump into someone every skate you push forward. I could have skated until my legs gave out, I LOVE ice skating. But we didn't. We skated for 3 hours only. Anyway, I deserve a trophy for not falling at all for the first time! Haha. I'll never forget the first time I went ice skating. The number of falls and how I fell. Oh my God. But it was fun, no doubt about it.

Anyway, while I didn't fall, Daniel did. Several times. Hahaha. He tried pushing me a few times but I was blessed with the skill of balancing that day. Neither my butt, knees nor my hands touched the ice. Yes ah! Power.

I can't wait to find another Wednesday to skate.

After that we caught the movie Hairspray. Not bad. I quite like it. But it was quite a waste of money cuz we went to watch it at the Shaw theatre at Jurong East. The seats were as comfortable as stools. And the screen was so high up. We had to slide way down the seat to rest our head at the back of the seat. Then there were not that big a space for our legs but it was quite lucky that no one sat in front of us. So we put our legs on the front seats. Hahahah.

He accompanied me home. We took a bus from J.E. to Hougang. One end of Singapore to the other. 2 hours plus by that bus. Oh my God.

Today, went back to school in uniform to take class photo by a professional. How professional, I'm not sure. Anyway, Tini and I were just a little bit late but they already started shooting. So when we came in, we had to run to our position and they only took 2 shots! It was less than a minute la!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was thinking about the HI Club camp I'd be going to. The camp starts in the morning. 9am I think. But I have attachment and it only ends at 3pm. So it's like the earliest I could get to camp is like 4 plus. That's like 6 hours plus that I'd miss. I heard from Wil that there'll be lessons on that first day. We also have to perform a song at the end of the 3 days 2 nights camp. So what if I miss what they chose and whatever new signs they learned? Oh man.. I know at least three (3) HI Club instructors read my blog. Hahahaha. So Wilson, Swee Teng or Daniel, if you read this, please catch me up. I don't want to learn less than everyone who's there early. Ok? You can put me in one corner and go through everything. I'm a fast learner. Hahaha.

So I'm gonna end here.

Oh you know Timothy from HI Club? His English and his thoughts are like WOW. I went to read his blog. He's so fluent and so.. smart! Whenever I read some posts of his I'm like awe struck. I feel so shallow when I read his blog. Hahaha. I wish I can write like him.

Go visit his blog, please: Click here.

First Date.

I hate exams, I hate exams, I hate exams.

On Monday, went to school to present our FYP. I shan't comment on that.

After that's over, I met Daniel and we went to catch Rush Hour 3 at Vivo City. It was funny, yea. A little fast but funny. I LOVE the bloopers. Bloopers are always funny. One of them was Jackie Chan was supposed to say FREEZE! while pointing a gun to this bad woman but he said CHEESE!! instead. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Damn funny. And he didn't even know it's wrong.

After that we went to look at stuff in shops. Went into Zara and I took such a long time to decide whether I should buy this top or not. In the end didn't cuz I'd rather save up for a new jacket, which I really need. A new one.

Went to the Samsung shop and we played an electric guitar!! Really it's electric. With all the wires and stuff. Damn fun! Hahaha. Could have played that forever. I can't wait to have a place of my own. It's going to be equipped with Samsung equipments. Everything are all so elegant.

Looked at shoes. I had a sudden desire to try on a six-inch high heels. Maybe I'd even want to own a pair. And walk on the tips of my toes in it. Hahah.

Then we went to get another pair of tickets for another movie. THE SIMPSONS MOVIE. I just felt like watching another movie. Hahah. Anyway, we had some time before it starts so..

We dropped by E-Zone. Played pool. I miss playing pool! I had a shock when Dan aimed all the balls so well. I'm like what the ****! And he kept saying it's luck. YA. SURE. I don't know how he can purposely hit the ball at an angle and get the ball in a pocket you won't even think is possible. But, anyway, guess who won? MOI! It's pronounced as 'muah', for those who're clueless. Which means 'me'. I love winning.

After that played a couple of racing car arcade games machine thing. I'd be dead in a car explosion if it was real. Haha.

Still had some time left before the movie so we went to sit at the rooftop area facing the sea. Chatted and played solitaire and lost the time. Realized just in time that the movie's starting. But didn't really rush cuz you know how it is, about 20 minutes of advertisements. Hahah.

I was quite surprised that the theatre was almost full. I thought the crowd would by now have dwindled. But then again it hasn't been a month since THE SIMPSONS aired. It just felt like it.

Anyway, the movie was GREAT! It's hilarious to the max! I can't imagine I could have NOT saw it. It was really really funny. I love it LOTS! And I got to do something for the first time. Hahah. Shhh.

After that, he accompanied me home. =)

Next movie to go see:
- License to Wed (17 Aug)
- Hairspray (23 Aug)
- Ratatouille (30 Aug)
- Evan Almighty (30 Aug)

Hmm.. another movie marathon?

HI! Club Closing Ceremony.

Yesterday was the HI Club Closing Ceremony. I love my class and my instructors A LOT A LOT! Those who quit halfway or didn't try to join, it's your loss. Seriously.

Anyway, there was a little bit of a technical glitch during my class performance. Halfway, the music suddenly stops. We only hesitated for like a milisecond and then we all started singing and signing to it. No music, so have to sing lor. Hahaha. Our class very special. We rock like.. to the max la.

I'm going to miss them lots lots.

Slept at around 4.45am last night talking on the phone with you-know-who. I know what arouses him! Omg. Girls, beware how you talk around him. Hahahah. ;P

Love, love. =)

Happy National Day!

Monday, Daniel surprised me by appearing at Pasir Ris to accompany me to school. It was a genuine surprise. Didn't expect it at all.

Later that evening, I had National Day Celebration rehearsal. WOW! I've never participated in anything so big before.

Tuesday was the actual day of the celebration. I met Daniel at McDonald's to eat breakfast. Hahah. I miss Mc's breakfast. So fast forward to the celebration. Backstage, I had tachycardia. I was so scared that I'd screw up my pledge signing. But it went quite well. Then went to sit with the other performers and Ivan to watch the rest of celebration. I missed my class that day. So sad. They were all really wearing the national colours. Very nice. After the celebration met up with some of the HI Club people to chat and eat free ice cream. I LOVE HI CLUB A LOT. Hahah.

We signed the pledge: 2 staff, 2 students.

Jocelyn, me and Evangeline. Evangeline was the reserve. In case I fainted. Hahah.

This was what the stage looked like.

In the bus, Daniel and I signed to each other. Attention seeker sia. Seriously. Hahaha. Towards the end of the journey home, I had a bout of nostalgia. I love my school a lot and I'm going to miss it so much.

PS Happy birthday Nisa!!
Happy birthday Singapore!!

It's so unfair that some people get to go for the National Day Parade every year. They went last year and they can go again this year. While some who hasn't been to one parade in their life and has tried to get the tickets still cannot go. It's not fair.

At the beginning.

Wednesday was Nurses' Day. We had a celebration in school. Similar like the previous year's where we had HS Idol. I had SOOOO much fun cheering and screaming with Tini. Almost to the end of the celebration the past year Idol contestants were brought on stage to sing. One of them was the winner of HS Idol 2006. What's his name? Oh yes, Kadir, right? When he started singing, I think all of us were stupefied by how 'great' he sang. He sang Yeah, Yeah by Usher and another song by don't know who. A medley.

Dr. Thomas was sitting in front of me, see. When Kadir sang the part "Yeah yeah", Dr. Thomas was going "Aiyoh, aiyoh". HAHAHAHAH!! One time I went "OH. MY. GOD." outloud. Then there was this part when Kadir sang "And my heart can't take it anymore..", I went like "My heart also cannot take it anymore". Dr. Thomas turned and laughed. I mean seriously. It's a wonder how he could have won the Idol Competition. Now I can appreciate how the judges of Singapore Idol felt when some guy who couldn't sing got voted to stay on.

Thursday I had my Practical Test. I was SUPER stressed and rushed I couldn't calculate 20% of 120. I think I looked like some stupid teenager that failed primary school mathematics. But I passed. Not that bad actually. Yay. So that ended at 10am and my next class was at 4pm. SUPER long break. What to do. I went to 'lepak' at the library to watch some DVDs. Luckily Tini came at 1pm so we can finish up our FYP Written Report. Thank GOD that's over. Only left the presentation.

Friday my class ended at 3 and HI Club Closing Ceremony Rehearsal starts at 6. So guess what I did. Yes, the library. I met Daniel there, supposedly to watch some DVD but there weren't any TV available, so we just sat and chatted while I played Mahjong on his laptop. Haha.

So all the HI Club people went to the rehearsal, blah blah blah. It was fun cuz I get to listen to songs and see them sign them. When the rehearsal was over, all the students, except for the instructors left. But, see, I was waiting for Daniel, so I didn't leave. I guess maybe I should've have waited outside or something. Cuz I brought attention to myself by staying there in the LT. Ivan asked me first what I'm still doing there so I told him I'm waiting for someone. He let it go. So I thought, Ok, no problem.

So then I took out my story book to read and give the instructors their moment for debriefing. I didn't expect anyone to be bothering me BUT THEN, the president used the mike and said "Student, why are you still here?" or something like that. And all the instructors turned to look at me. I was like "DAMN!". Ivan answered for me saying that I'm waiting for someone. Nothing in the world could have prepared me for the question she asked next: "Who?" I was already squirming in my seat la! Daniel was seating on the floor in the row in front of me, writing some stuff. I could have died! I didn't know whether to tell them or not. So I kinda delayed a bit, squirming, squirming, all the time they were looking at me. So they asked again, "Who are you waiting for?" Not in the demanding way, but the just asking way. Finally, Daniel saved me from my dilemma and raised his hand. Then everyone went

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

I was like oh. my. goddd. Embarrassing like anything la! I can just imagine what they'd be asking Daniel later on. Hahah.

Then he accompanied me home.

Friday was a good day. =)
