I love flowers.
I love spontaneity, and pleasant surprises.
I'm dainty and ambitious; really.
I nurse others.
There's more than meets the eye when it comes to me.

Smoking Kills.

Smoking Kills

So I've changed my layout yet again. Sue me.

My computer has just came back from servicing. So did my phone. With all the pictures and messages gone. Awesome.

Last Thursday, someone died in my school. He was a 40-50 year old man. He was from outside taking an engineering course. At 9 something, he was having a class, i think, when he collapsed. He vomitted and his nose bled. Someone called my lecturer/tutor, Dr. Lim (we call him Uncle Ronnie), to come check on him. When Dr. Lim arrived at the scene, the man was already on the ground on his side, which was good. He touched the man's face and found that it was cold and clammy. His radial pulse and the pulse at his neck were tremendously weak. Dr. Lim said it was because of very low blood pressure. The man was unconscious for 20 mins. Then he started snoring. When he came to, his skin has returned colour, pinkish, and his pulse returned to normal. He seemed well. But the ambulance came so Dr. Lim decided to send him to the hospital instead of originally planning to call his wife to pick him up. Then around noon, the hospital called my school and informed us that the man had passed away. He died of hypertension and high blood pressure. Plus he was a chain smoker. *Gasped!* Yea that was the reaction given by all of us when we were told about it.

Those who smokes, please stop smoking. PLEASE! You're not only harming yourself but also others. 2nd hand smokers (those who breathe in cigarettes smoke) has a higher risk of dying than those who actually smoke the damned cigarettes. And besides, the stuff smells horrible! I almost choked when I was engulfed in cigarette smoke the other day at the bus stop. Geez!

Today, I went out and bought 2 dresses. Thinking of buying another one, which costs $30, soon.
